Faculty Recruitment
The multi-specialty group medical practice at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine is growing! We are seeking additional faculty in Lubbock for the following areas:
- General Surgery
- Infectious Disease
- Medical Oncology/Hematology
- Rheumatology
Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in their specialty areas and display a history of exemplary clinical skills. Clinical duties consist of inpatient/outpatient consultation, outpatient clinics, and possible oversight of resident physicians as needed. A wide variety of opportunities exist for involvement in the teaching of medical students, clinical research, and continuing medical education. Candidates should have qualifications necessary for faculty appointment and for licensure in Texas.
Texas Tech Physicians of Lubbock is a Joint Commission accredited, medical school-based practice comprising 12 specialty departments with more than 150 physicians providing care to some 75,000 patients annually.
